1. Scope
These terms apply when you visit, browse or use Raceventory, including account registration, listing publication, messaging, favorites, saved searches, reporting, seller profiles and paid platform services.
By using the platform, you agree to use it only for lawful, honest and motorsport-related marketplace activity.
2. Classifieds platform only
Raceventory provides an online platform where users can publish and discover listings. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Raceventory is not a party to the sale of the listed vehicle, part, equipment or service.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing the price, inspection, payment, collection, delivery, ownership transfer, import/export requirements, customs, taxes, technical checks and any legal requirements for the underlying item.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You must not impersonate another person or company.
- You must not use the platform for fraud, spam, harassment, scraping, automated abuse or misleading marketplace activity.
- The platform may restrict, suspend or remove accounts used in violation of these terms or platform rules.
4. Seller responsibility
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and availability of their listings. Listings must not be misleading and should accurately describe the item, location, price, condition, history, included parts and known defects.
Sellers must have the right to sell the listed item and must not list stolen goods, counterfeit goods, illegal goods or items with unclear ownership.
5. Buyer responsibility
Buyers are responsible for checking the item, seller, documentation, payment method, transport, ownership history and technical suitability before committing to a transaction.
Race cars, competition vehicles and motorsport parts may carry increased technical, safety, regulatory and financial risk. Buyers should use professional inspection or specialist advice where appropriate.
6. Messaging and user conduct
- Do not send abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harassing messages.
- Do not use messaging to send spam, phishing links, fake payment confirmations or misleading payment instructions.
- Do not pressure users into unsafe payment methods or rushed off-platform deals.
- The platform may review reported messages where needed for safety, moderation or legal reasons.
7. Paid platform services
The platform may offer paid services such as featured listings, top placements or dealer profile packages. These services increase visibility on the platform for the stated duration.
Paid visibility does not guarantee a sale, lead, message, buyer quality, search position at all times, traffic level or commercial result.
For manual payment flows, an order may be created first and activated after payment confirmation by the platform operator. For automatic checkout flows, activation may depend on payment provider confirmation.
8. Moderation
The platform may remove, restrict, unpublish or moderate listings, messages, accounts, seller profiles or paid visibility features if content appears to violate these terms, listing rules, safety rules, law, third-party rights or platform integrity.
Moderation may be based on user reports, automated signals, manual review or platform operator judgement. Users can contact support if they believe a moderation decision was incorrect.
9. No warranty on listings
Unless explicitly stated in writing by the platform operator, Raceventory does not verify every listing, seller statement, item condition, ownership claim, race eligibility, road legality, part compatibility or safety claim.
Listings are user-generated. Users should perform their own checks before entering into any transaction.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Raceventory is not liable for disputes, losses, defects, damage, non-delivery, misrepresentation, unsafe items, failed transactions or payment disputes between users regarding the underlying listed item.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
11. Changes
The platform may update these terms from time to time. Material changes should be communicated clearly where required.
Continued use of the platform after updated terms become effective means the updated terms apply.
